Update:

As you may, or may not have noticed, I haven't posted any new blogs lately. I've been getting ready to move to CA, so it may be a little while before I post the next one.

It's been really hectic lately. Everything has come together within the past 2 weeks, so I've been going non-stop.

I'm ready for the next chapter in my life. I've always told people I'd end up on the west coast one day. It's my dream... It's also bittersweet. I've called this place home for the past 15 years. Life is to be lived, not dreamt about. I've never allowed anyone or anything to hold me back from what I really want. Some people choose to chase dreams. I would rather catch them. As everyone should.

At one point or another, I've risked just about everything due to "dream catching". Jobs, relationships, security...I've always managed to pull through. 90% of the time, we worry about things that never happen. We over analyze and criticize ourselves. I've learned to stop myself when I do these things. "In order to be successful, one must project an image of success". A quote from my favorite movie, American Beauty. It works.

Major Poof Pony

I'm always searching for new retro hairstyles to try out. It's difficult when you have super long hair. I created a deep side part, then used a claw clip to grab the long side. I dragged it up, allowing the hair to puff out. I then fastened it in place. I pulled the rest of my hair into a high ponytail.
