My Secret

After reading the book "The Secret", I evaluated myself (I do often to improve) and changed many of the ways I perceived things. You have to read the book yourself to truly understand the amazing effect it has, or could have on everything you do.

Since then, I've studied a few other books based on the "law of attraction", and realized how powerful we are and how in control we are of what we do, the people we meet, the situations we are faced with, and how we overcome them.

One of the exercises in the book is to create a "dream board". I use the word "dream" loosely, because no dream has to remain a dream. It CAN become reality. So, I collected pictures of what I want in the future, wrote out words, like what I want my "dream" house to have, inspiring quotes, where I want my husband and I to be, and so on. And I put the board in a place where we can see it everyday. Every time we look at it, we will have positive thoughts about our future and what it holds for us.

Our minds are capable of more than we know. Positive thought brings positive outcomes. Living in the "bubble" I've created for myself, I don't allow negative into my everyday life. I don't watch the news, read news papers, or watch horror movies. I've chosen this way of life because I feel that those things bring me down. The world could end tomorrow, and having no idea, I'd probably just go out for ice cream.
